Our Mission Matters
The Harlingen Area Educational Foundation was established in 1990 as an independent non-profit to promote quality education at HCISD. The Foundation provides scholarships to deserving students and grants for underfunded educational programs and activities, which are used to facilitate student achievement and skill development. We believe every child deserves a bright future filled with opportunities.
Vision: To inspire, support and sustain 21st Century Learning.
Mission: To Facilitate a partnership with HCISD and the greater Harlingen Community and to support the HCISD strategic plan.
